First, boil the potatoes in water. Peel and mash them.
Now in a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and throw in cumin seeds. Then chopped green chili and cilantro. Then salt and red chili. You can also add cilantro as the seasoning at the end.
Then add mashed potatoes and cook for only one minute.
Now in a bowl throw gram flour, red chili powder, salt, and turmeric. Add some water with a spoon and mix. Keep adding water until it turns into a thin paste.
Take one slice of bread, place the stuffing over it with a spoon and cover with other bread. With a knife cut it into a triangular shape.
Now heat the oil in the pan. Take one triangular piece from the two and dip it into the batter.
Fry it in oil from both sides. Repeat this process with all the bread slices. Your bread pakoras are ready! enjoy them with ketchup or your any other favorite chutney.
Notes
Try to use less oil. More oil for frying would make the pakoras heavy. I have used only potatoes for filling but you can also add other veggies such as chopped onion or bell peppers. You should also check the level of spiciness in your pakoras filling and batter also. Everyone has their own taste preferences of course.
