This taco soup frios recipe uses broth, ground beef, sour cream, shredded cheese, avocado, and tortilla chips. It is an alternative to traditional soup.
10oz.can diced tomatoes and green chiliesundrained
1packtaco seasoning
¼cuplime juice
For the toppings:
shredded lettuce
sour cream
shredded cheddar cheese
chopped tomatoes
diced avocado
tortilla chips
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft for about 5 minutes.
Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
Add diced tomatoes and green chilies, water and taco seasoning to the pot one by one.Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Ladle into bowls and top with avocado, sour cream, shredded lettuce chopped tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and tortilla chips.
